Dear Friends,
It has been a while since I've taken the time to update my pages here - please accept my sincere apologies.
I have been quite busy teaching music and singing at Rudolf Steiner College
http://www.steinercollege.edu/
For the full time training programs as well as the two wonderful Waldorf Teachers' Conferences in January and February. It seems that word-of-mouth is filling my schedule quickly with private lessons and I am hard-pressed to find windows in my full weeks for the many new private students, some travelling and workshops.
The sales of my book
You Deserve to Sing www.createspace.com/3970323
have gone up sharply this winter and my group work at the conferences has had rave reviews. I am grateful and humbled by so much enthusiastic support.
So please, if you have been wanting to come and work with me or invite me to travel to your place, let me know as soon as possible! make sure you're on my e-mail list or you are subscribed to this blog, so you are informed of my spring offerings!
Updates will be coming in before the end of this Month - and some of it this weekend!
Keep Singing!
Eva

Singing Workshops at Rudolf Steiner College coming up!
it is not too late! Just come and register at the door
2 Saturdays, November 16th and 23rd.
9:00 AM to 12:30 PM
You Deserve to Sing!
An Introduction to the School of Uncovering the Voice
Everyone can benefit from the healing power of song!
This Werbeck method is a powerful tool for the development of consciousness, self-awareness and vocal mastery. Exercises and new vocal techniques will be applied to seasonal songs.
These vocal development exercises are invaluable for beginners and advanced alike.
These two dates will be sequential, so I strongly recommend taking both. However, you may also just take one Saturday. (For beginners I recommend the first one, more advanced students the second).
To register on-line, please use the link below. Online registration will be closed by Wednesday before the event, but you can still call the phone number for registration, or simply show up at the door.

Excerpt from the PREFACE of my book
You Deserve to Sing! Available soon through Amazon and other sources.
You Deserve to Sing! Available soon through Amazon and other sources.
....The
Creator has given us everything we need through the countless miracles of
nature, but also the responsibility of its stewardship. We have also been given, by the same Source,
all the tools we need to heal ourselves, to make progress in our spiritual
journeys and to become more and more awake as humanity. We need to foster this
inner growth in order to become true stewards of this Planet.
I have found that the human voice is one of
these essential ‘tools’ of human development. Its use and growth is dependent
on the perfect interplay between all the other ‘tools’ and human capacities
like Speech and Communication, Thinking, Feeling, Imagination, Listening,
Awareness….

I Have Submitted my little book for review. This is the cover preview (Front and back). It should be available very, very soon! I got my ISBN today and submitted my manuscript for review to Create Space, a self-publishing company connected to Amazon. If all goes well it should be available for sale at Amazon and other sources before the Month is over.
What a long process this has been! Over two years of collecting ideas, discarding, re-thinking and re-writing, self-editing, other people editing, fiddling with formatting..... Only to realize that I need to be done for now and get the first edition out. So here it comes and I'm proud of it. Simple, affordable, readable and hopefully helpful. I will let you know when it comes out!

More and more private students, especially young ones, are finding their way into my schedule; more and more people are contacting me about my work, asking for more workshop options, getting excited to enrich their lives with Song. I am humbly grateful to be able to offer this important work! Sometimes my schedule is impossibly crammed, sometimes it's precariously empty - but those are the times when I have time to practice, write, create.
I have posted the new schedule for 2013 on my page titled: "Upcoming and Current Events in Fair Oaks" Check it out! I'm excited to see it manifest.
On this day, 12/12/12, I am inspired to move forward, to make things happen.

Many of you have expressed to me your wish to take another lesson or two, someday, if you could only fit it in! Some of you simply had unsolvable scheduling conflicts this past Fall; maybe you need another reminder to schedule your long wished-for lesson, but maybe this "someday" is now, during the Winter break?
As it turns out, I am going to stay home and I'm hoping to spend some time during this break doing what I love: teaching singing and helping teachers with their classroom music.
Don't hesitate to contact me, I'd love to work with you this December!
Have a wonderful Advent time!

I' packing and preparing for a week in Carmel and Pacific Grove, working at the Monterey Bay Charter School, helping the teachers with their music in the classroom. As I was there last year as well, I have an idea of what to expect: I am anticipating a very full, exhausting yet rewarding five days with an enthusiastic group of people and a couple of amazing walks at Carmel Beach and Asilomar...
The school has requested a Parent Education Evening about "Building Social Awareness and Compassion through Song" - the workshop title I will be offering Saturday, November 17th in Fair Oaks.
I have the feeling that for me this theme will be particularly important for my work in the near future.

My schedule for the school year is filling up rapidly -
I am already running into the usual puzzle -challenges of a crowded schedule. How to consolidate family schedules with work? I had to make some corrections on my Fall-program. If you were looking into it, please look again! The September Saturday classes may need to move to the last week of September (29th)
Nice problem to have, in the end... Thank you all for your support!
I'm looking forward to a productive, wholesome and harmonious Semester.
