Cultivating Voices, Lifting Hearts

What I Can Teach You

In my "Sound Integrity Singing" Studio all participants are offered techniques, exercises, songs and inspirations chosen and designed to:

  • Develop mastery over the physical instrument, which includes the whole body including the breathing and  energies flowing through it.
  • Learn how to use the voice consciously, confidently and in alignment with one's intentions
  • Find Joy, Enthusiasm and Creativity through Singing
  • Cultivate a singing voice that is effortless, flexible, objective and universally beautiful
  • Discover the deep connection between the development of the soul and vocal development.

Participants in my courses for classroom support and pedagogy will also receive insight into:

  • the profound influence of sound and music on the development of the human being
  • How to teach and lead songs in the classroom
  • relevant  music curriculum in the Waldorf Schools
Participants who are asking for a therapeutic approach will also receive individually designed exercise sequences to address their specific issue.

Taking Charge

Come one come all and sing with me!
I realized that a blog will work just fine to let everyone know what I'm up to and how to get in touch with me, to see my schedule and what I offer . A website will follow as soon as the business is settled and the schedule filled.
My new little music room in my home is almost ready for the piano to go in! I have a lovely couch in there, a desk and a water dispenser. The rug is still somewhere in some store, the fold-up chairs and the music stand still on the wishlist, the coat hangers not on the wall (who needs coat hangers in June, anyways!). The Cash-box still needs to be bought, the schedule needs to be filled, business cards need to be ordered and the dog needs to be taught to ignore visitors.  He is already doing so much better!
Meanwhile I'm still finishing the last two weeks of teaching school, writing reports, packing up my stuff there, planning summer courses for Rudolf Steiner College... Then I will replenish my professional well-being and spend several days with my teacher Christiaan Boele in Santa Rosa.

Then I'll be ready to invite my first students into my studio.
